Imagine walking through your fertility or birth journey feeling calm, confident, and supported

A doula is a trained professional who provides physical, emotional, and informational support to individuals before, during, and shortly after childbirth. Unlike medical professionals, doulas focus on non-clinical aspects of care, to help create a confident and empowering fertility, pregnancy, and birth experience. Doulas also can equip families with knowledge to help them advocate for themselves and navigate the myriad options that are available during this time.

Evidence shows that continuous support (like that from a doula) is associated with shorter labor durations, reduced need for medical interventions like C-sections, and increased satisfaction with the birthing experience. A 2017 Cochrane review of 26 studies concluded that continuous support from a doula can lead to better outcomes for both parent and baby, highlighting the value of this personalized, compassionate care.

My Approach

In my practice, I firmly believe in bodily autonomy and supporting the rights and choices of each family. I also believe that in order to make informed decisions, clients need to be equipped with more knowledge and all of the options (not just standard policies & procedures).

I am dedicated to evidence-based practices, helping birthers make informed decisions, and empowering them to reclaim their fertility journeys & birthing experiences from a system that often prioritizes institutional procedures over individual needs.

Connecting Back to Your Power

I believe we are in a time where things are shifting in how we approach fertility, pregnancy, and birth.

YOU are the birther, this is YOUR baby(ies) and YOUR birth. It’s time to reclaim your power as you embark on this divine journey.

I want to help you connect deeply to yourself, your support system, and your path. I utilize informational, physical, and emotional support to help clients feel supported, knowledgeable, and empowered throughout their journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

Learn How it Works!

What does a fertility doula do?

A fertility doula provides emotional support, education, and holistic guidance during your fertility journey. Whether you’re trying to conceive naturally or undergoing assisted reproductive treatments, I offer tools and resources to help reduce stress, track cycles, and optimize your overall well-being.

What does postpartum doula support include?

Postpartum support focuses on your recovery and adjustment to life with a newborn. I assist with newborn care, emotional support, breastfeeding guidance, and practical tasks like meal prep or light housekeeping, ensuring you have the time and space to heal.

When should i hire a birth doula?

It’s never too early to hire a doula! Many clients reach out in the first or second trimester to start planning for their birth experience. However, I’m happy to support you at any stage of pregnancy.

Do you work with specific birth plans or preferences?

Absolutely! Whether you’re planning a home birth, hospital birth, or cesarean, I tailor my support to align with your preferences. My goal is to help you feel confident and in control, no matter the setting.

What kind of support do you offer during labor and birth?

As your birth doula, I provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support during labor. This includes comfort measures like massage and breathing techniques, guidance for partners, and advocating for your birth preferences to help you feel empowered and informed.

Can a doula replace medical professionals?

No, a doula is not a medical professional. I work alongside your healthcare providers to ensure you feel supported and informed but do not make medical decisions or provide clinical care.

Can I still benefit from a doula even if I have a supportive partner and care provider?

Absolutely! A doula complements the support of your partner and care provider by focusing solely on your emotional, physical, and informational needs. I work as part of your team, helping your partner feel confident in their role and offering continuous, personalized support that medical providers often can’t provide during labor. Together, we ensure you feel empowered, cared for, and fully supported throughout your journey.

Do you offer virtual doula services?

Yes! I provide virtual support for fertility, pregnancy, birth preparation, and postpartum care. This includes video calls, personalized guidance, and resources tailored to your needs.
